The vegetables of our labour...

Potato, onion and tomato gratin with garlicky courgette slices on the side. A lovely Sunday treat, made even more special with the knowledge that every ingredient is fresh out of our own garden.

About Me

Sabs: Birmingham, West Midlands, United Kingdom; I live with my husband, two daughters (Aali and Isla) and two cats (Mini and Merky). My other profiles on Bloglovin', Ravelry, Instagram and the like are under the name miniandmerky. By day I'm a doctor, but in my spare time I love making things. The bug initially started with making beaded jewellery but I quickly got to the stage where I had tons of necklaces and earrings and nowhere to wear them all! So now I've started sewing. I've made quilts, pillows, bags and accessories, and actual clothes! I have also learnt to knit and am in the process of making a wardrobe full of cardis and jumpers! I also love cooking and am a bit of a bookworm. The blog is named after my first ever cat Tybalt who sadly got run over when he was just 13 months old. This is kind of my tribute to him and my way of remembering him.
